How the sixteen outputs are wired, the MODE2 register.

Fields

totem_pole: bool

Totem-pole (push-pull) outputs, the reset default, or open-drain when false; the datasheet asks for open-drain when driving LEDs with built-in protection.

inverted: bool

Invert the output logic, for boards with no external driver.

change_on_ack: bool

Change the outputs on the acknowledge of each register write rather than on the stop condition; the default synchronizes a whole update.
