Registers a device by its identifiers and its root key, as one that follows TS001-1.0.4.

Arguments

• dev_eui - the device’s identifier.
• app_eui - the application identifier it joins under.
• app_key - the root key it was provisioned with.

The registration.

Sets the revision of the link layer the device follows.

The network holds a device to its own revision’s rules. The one that differs here is the uplink counter: LoRaWAN 1.0.3 section 4.3.1.5 refuses a frame MAX_FCNT_GAP or more ahead of the last one accepted, and TS001-1.0.4 asks only that the counter go up.

• version - the revision the device was built to.

The updated registration, for chaining.
