pub struct Reads {
pub quantity: String,
pub unit: String,
}Expand description
What a profile reads: the quantity its control decides on, and the unit its numbers are in.
A manifest names it so a reader knows what to wire before opening the numbers, and so
a runner can pick the right reading from a part that measures several things, such as
the temperature a BME280 reports beside humidity and pressure. In a manifest it is the
reads object:
{ "quantity": "temperature", "unit": "celsius" }Both are lowercase words joined by underscores. The setpoint, bands, and limits of the profile’s control are in the unit named here.
Fields§
§quantity: StringThe quantity, such as "temperature", "relative_humidity", or "water_level".
unit: StringThe unit the profile’s numbers are in, such as "celsius", "percent", or
"meter".
