Expand description

The per-chip trimming coefficients read from 0x88..=0x9F.

These are programmed into non-volatile memory during production and are constant for a given device, so they are read once at start-up and reused for every measurement.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Calibration

Source

pub fn parse(bytes: &[u8; 24]) -> Calibration

Parses the coefficients from the calibration block, each word LSB first.

§Arguments
  • bytes - the 24 bytes read from 0x88..=0x9F.
§Returns

The decoded calibration.

Source

pub fn to_bytes(&self) -> [u8; 24]

Builds the calibration block a device holding these coefficients would return.

§Returns

The 24 bytes as they sit at 0x88..=0x9F.

Source

pub fn compensate(&self, raw: &Measurement) -> Reading

Compensates a raw measurement into temperature and pressure.

Temperature is computed first because its t_fine intermediate feeds the pressure formula, exactly as the reference code shares it.

§Arguments
  • raw - the uncompensated 20-bit codes from the data registers.
§Returns

The compensated Reading.
